Scott's hunting passion started from the time he was old enough to go out into the woods with friends and family.  He spent many of hours just trying to get close to critters in the outdoors.  It was his first pellet gun that made him love the thrill and excitement of hunting game on a one-on-one basis.   “I love the sport of hunting because it is you against the animal and the cards are always stacked against you!”   Scott started deer hunting at the age of 12 and has harvested many whitetails since then with both gun and bow.  Six years ago Scott put down his guns to become a full time archer.  “Archery has taken hunting to whole new level for me.  There is nothing like trying to get close enough to game for a good shot and then being able to close the deal.”  Archery has increased my hunting skills ten fold and made me a lot better hunter and woodsman.  Scott claims he owes his whole hunting passion to his brother, cousin and uncle.  “Had it not been for my brother and other family members, I probably wouldn’t have the passion for hunting like I do.  They have giving me opportunities in the outdoors that otherwise wouldn’t have been available.”

Scott feels it is very important whenever possible to introduce new people into the outdoors.  “Opportunity to enjoy the outdoors is growing smaller each day.  It’s up to us as outdoorsmen to share opportunities outdoors with others that are less fortunate.  Everyone should try to make time to take a kid hunting and fishing or just spend time in the woods with them.”  “I remember as a kid thinking the woods were a whole different world than the neighborhood the bordered them.  It was such an adventure to go out exploring what nature had to offer.  That’s why kids that don’t have parents that like to hunt and fish need someone to open doors for them, so they to can experience that same type of feeling.”

Scott also loves to video his hunting adventures so he can share them with others.  “There is nothing like videoing your hunt.  Many times I’ve been in the woods and had a hunt of lifetime, but couldn’t share it with anyone else.  Now we have opportunities to capture those moments on film and share it with everyone!”
